We value our community's overall growth. Even with experience in other dance styles, we believe partner dance is like a conversation, and having a conversation can become challenging without a vocabulary. If you've never taken a progressive class series for Brazilian Zouk, we highly recommend starting with Basics A.
Maybe! Our RVAZM teachers are happy to offer an assessment to evaluate if you are on track with our learning methodology from what you have learned from other teachers or communities. Please reach out to us through Facebook Messenger or email us at rvazoukmovement@gmail.com to schedule a session.
At Zouk Lab, we won't be reviewing any basic footwork as we expect Zouk Lab students to already have this knowledge. Even with experience in other dance styles, we believe partner dance is like a conversation, and having a conversation can become challenging without a vocabulary. If you haven't learned at least 5 of the 10 basics in Brazilian Zouk, we highly recommend signing up for our beginner classes first.
Yes! Zouk Lab classes focus on improving the execution of things you already know about Brazilian Zouk. That said, you only need Basics A to participate in Zouk Lab, but finishing both Basics A & B will give you more things to apply it to.
Maybe! It depends on your goals. Our solo exercises are applicable to a lot of dance styles, but our sole focus is to condition our bodies based on the most efficient way to dance Brazilian Zouk. Please reach out to us through Facebook Messenger or email us at rvazoukmovement@gmail.com to know more.
Not gonna lie, this class will likely be very challenging for you. We value your time and growth. If you've never taken a progressive class series for Brazilian Zouk, we highly recommend starting with our beginner classes first.
